ALGARVE ART SHOW TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS
1. REGISTRATION: Algarve Art Show is sponsored by Art Lovers Algarve under Registration #MDBGPPNGPYVJ. No other entity has the right to use this name unless specifically granted by Art Lovers Algarve or a committee member. Algarve Art Show does grant permission to participants to post information on the show to your social media pages and will at times provide content for your use.
2. BILLING: After receipt of registration for the show, the artist will be billed for their space and any extras required. Terms are 50% within 30 days of billing, and the remaining 50% by August 31, 2026.
3. CANCELLATION FEES: If an artist need to cancel for any reason, the terms are as follows
- No cancellation fee before August 15, 2026
- A 25% cancellation fee after August 15, 2026
4. ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS: The committee reserves the right to accept or decline applications for participation in the show at its discretion.
5. CODE OF CONDUCT: Participants are required to act with courtesy to the members of the committee and their fellow participants. Any bullying, belittling, defamation, foul language or intimidation of another person involved with or visiting the show will result in immediate disqualification from participation.
6. VENUE: Participants must at all times act with respect for the venue being provided and must keep their areas clean and free from clutter. Any damage to the venue is the responsibility of the participant causing the damage.
7. SET-UP AND DISMANTLING: All participants must respect the hours for set-up and dismantling of their spaces. There will be no dismantling allowed before the close of the show. Anyone who tries to remove their artworks before the end of the show will be disqualified from future shows.
8. WALLS AND HANGING SYSTEM: The walls will be made of aluminum with a fibre core. Nails and screws are not allowed as no holes can be put in the walls. The show will provide a flexible hanging system consisting of a 1.5 meter cable with 2 hangers for each meter of wall space. Additional cables may be purchased at the information desk. Double sided tape and stick-on hooks are allowed as long as they are removed at the end of the show by the participant without damaging the wall panel.
9. FOOD and DRINK: There will be a cafeteria area with options for food and drinks. Participants are welcome to use the area for lunches and breaks and to provide their own refreshments if preferred.
TERMOS E CONDIÇÕES DA EXPOSIÇÃO DE ARTE DO ALGARVE PARA CANDIDATOS
1. INSCRIÇÃO: A Exposição de Arte do Algarve é patrocinada pela Art Lovers Algarve sob o número de inscrição #MDBGPPNGPYVJ. Nenhuma outra entidade tem o direito de usar este nome, a menos que seja especificamente autorizado pela Art Lovers Algarve ou por um membro da comissão. A Exposição de Arte do Algarve autoriza os participantes a publicar informações sobre a exposição em suas redes sociais e, ocasionalmente, fornecerá conteúdo para seu uso.
2. COBRANÇA: Após o recebimento da inscrição para a exposição, o artista será cobrado pelo seu espaço e quaisquer extras necessários. As condições são: 50% em até 30 dias após a emissão da fatura e os 50% restantes até 31 de agosto de 2026.
3. TAXAS DE CANCELAMENTO: Caso um artista precise cancelar sua participação por qualquer motivo, as condições são as seguintes:
- Sem taxa de cancelamento antes de 15 de agosto de 2026
- Taxa de cancelamento de 25% após 15 de agosto de 2026
4. ACEITAÇÃO DE INSCRIÇÕES: A comissão reserva-se o direito de aceitar ou recusar inscrições para participação na exposição a seu critério.
5. CÓDIGO DE CONDUTA: Os participantes devem agir com cortesia para com os membros da comissão e os demais participantes. Qualquer comportamento abusivo, depreciativo, difamatório, linguagem obscena ou intimidação de outra pessoa envolvida com a exposição ou que a esteja visitando resultará em desclassificação imediata.
6. LOCAL: Os participantes devem, em todos os momentos, agir com respeito pelo local disponibilizado e manter seus espaços limpos e organizados. Qualquer dano ao local será de responsabilidade do participante que o causar.
7. MONTAGEM E DESMONTAGEM: Todos os participantes devem respeitar os horários de montagem e desmontagem de seus espaços. Não será permitida a desmontagem antes do encerramento da exposição. Qualquer pessoa que tentar remover suas obras de arte antes do término da exposição será desclassificada de futuras edições.
8. PAREDES E SISTEMA DE FIXAÇÃO: As paredes serão de alumínio com núcleo de fibra. Pregos e parafusos não são permitidos, pois não é possível furar as paredes. O evento fornecerá um sistema de fixação flexível composto por um cabo de 1,5 metro com 2 ganchos para cada metro de parede. Cabos adicionais poderão ser adquiridos no balcão de informações. Fita dupla face e ganchos adesivos são permitidos, desde que sejam removidos pelo participante ao final do evento, sem danificar o painel da parede.
9. ALIMENTAÇÃO E BEBIDAS: Haverá uma área de cafeteria com opções de comidas e bebidas. Os participantes podem utilizar o espaço para almoços e intervalos, e trazer seus próprios lanches e bebidas, se preferirem.
